Love your style, love your gear Sascha. I'm a big fan of charity shops.... Hardly ever bought anything new in 60 years. During lockdowns the charity shops here in Nederland got stuffed to the doors. When they opened up again Every Item was just one Euro. I had to build a second wardrobe.... Set for life now. Found you via David Wiggins, wish you success, peace, Maurice
Thanks Maurice! Great to hear that you discovered the magic of charity shops a long time ago - there really are some hidden gems. Thanks for reading, I really appreciate it.
I've struggled with this so much since the pandemic! I got so used to being comfortable and am no longer prepared to sacrifice my comfort on a daily basis, but the comfy/chic balance makes it really hard to identify pieces I will actually wear. These tips are helpful, thank you.
Great advice! Being realistic about our needs and lifestyle is important. I see so many gorgeous boots I want but I too walk a lot and need comfort!
I think my words would be:
Whimsical - I'm obsessed with patterns and color. I regularly see children's book illustrations and wish they existed on a skirt or dress.
Functional - I have a small child, a love of walking/fitness, and I work from home, so comfort and ease of use is key.
Stubborn - I know what I like and it hasn't changed in decades. Maybe the materials change but the style is the same. I've been obsessed with rounded or square- never pointy -shoes and boots since I was a kid and it's never changed!

Interesting point of view
I know it’s not one people are aware of, and I hope to spread the message!

I don’t think you need to sacrifice comfort! I definitely believe comfort can be part of your personal style. I love a good comfy-chic look :)

STUBBORN might just be the best style word ever
